Three days from Friday to Sunday to live Caorle as Hemingway lived it: between lagoon casoni, cicchetti at Vedetta, sailing to La Frassina winery and fish dinners in the Venetian tradition.
Ernest Hemingway visited these lands and was fascinated by them: the lagoon, the fishermen, the particular light of the Upper Adriatic ended up in his pages. Hemingway Experience is a slow weekend that retraces some of those places, weaving them with the contemporary flavor of the Venetian territory.
It begins on Friday afternoon with a naturalist walk in the casoni area, told through ancient Caorle maritime traditions, and closes the day at the historic La Vedetta tavern with a Venetian cicchetti aperitif: small bites of tradition.
Saturday is dedicated to the wine tour: boat trip to La Frassina winery, visit and tasting of own-production wines. In the evening, dinner at a traditional restaurant with typical local menu. Sunday, after breakfast, check-out and return home.
Overnight stay in 3 or 4-star hotel with breakfast. Apartment formula also available for groups of 4 people.

Arrival in Caorle and check-in at the chosen accommodation. In the afternoon, naturalist walk in the casoni area with storytelling about ancient Caorle maritime traditions: the relationship between man and lagoon, ancient fishing techniques, the stories of families who built the community.
Aperitif at Vedetta, the historic gathering place of local fishermen. Tasting of Venetian tradition cicchetti, small bites that tell centuries of maritime culture. Overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the Hemingway-inspired boat tour: navigation through the waterways the writer traveled, until reaching La Frassina winery by water, as it was once done.
Guided tour and tasting of own-production wines. A direct dialogue with the producer tells the philosophy, the harvests and the winemaking methods that make these local wines unique.
Return to Caorle and free time for rest, walk along the seafront or individual exploration in the old town.
